((THIS IS AN RP ACCOUNT))
I was born in 1837, in Canada to a man that owned a plantation and a woman named Elizabeth. I had an older brother, but I never knew him.
When I was born, my mother considered me a traitor for existing. That's why I've got such a... lackluster middle name. She was the religious type and didn't think she should ever have children after John Jr. died.
I grew up kinda scrawny and sick, until one day, shit hit the fan. I found out that my father was not, in fact, John Howlett. No, my father was none other than Thomas Logan, and I had a half brother named Dog who I'd grown up with thinking was my friend.
So, people got killed and me an' Rose went into hiding. We went west into Alaska, and Rose gave me my father's name. Started goin' by Logan when I was maybe thirteen years old.
What I didn't know was that Dog had a pure kinda hatred on his heart, the kind that can only come from havin' an abusive alcoholic of a father. He had his eye set on Rose, so followed us. He killed Rose, and I ended up killin' him. I fled the mine camp and headed my way down to America.
Down south, the Union Army was a great mental escape for me. I masqueraded as an american and fought, killed, and died myself a couple a' times. After that war was won, I built myself a little cabin up in Chomedey Quebec.
I lived there til the next american war, and the next, and the next... I been in every american war 'cept the most recent ones over in the middle east. I've worked for the government a hell of a lot of times, the Canadian one too. I've spent time in Japan and Madripoor, spent time in Vietnam and Russia. Was in Australia for a time with the X-Men as well.
My most recent venture happens to include a blue hellcat of a woman and a spitfire little daughter we called Anna. I fight with the X-Men for what I think is right and I love every minute of it. There have been some trying times, tryin' to balance it all out with the wife, kids, X-Men, and my life all over the world. But somehow, I always get through to live another day.
